wedding dreaming

Last Tuesday I got a phone call at around 3pm from a place I had a job interview at recently. They offered me a job on a 3 month probationary period and asked me to start the following day at 6.45am.
Crazy notice huh?
So since last Tuesday, my life has kind of revolved around this new job as I learn the ropes and feel obligated to take every shift they offer so that I look good and get hired after my 3 months probation are up.
I've only done 5 shifts and I'm really not loving it. I know a lot of people don't like their jobs so I'm not alone.
But for my own sanity I have been reminding myself why I am at work.
It's so I can have the wedding of my dreams and buy a house.

So I'm doing a blog post filled with wedding inspiration, more for myself, so that when I'm having a bad day or a hard time at work, I can look over these photos and realise that I am doing it all for a reason.

I have so many photos of wedding inspiration saved to my computer, here's a few that I love.

    2. oh! thats interesting because my bf is looking into working in aged care - i'll be sure to tell him that its draining! he thinks its all about entertaining old people haha!
i work as a receptionist, and i dont HATE my job, its certainly a welcome relief to not be dealing with moron customers anymore, but its really really boring. its also on the other side of the city so its a good hour drive every day and thats a bit draining, just to come to a job where i hardly do anything. but its relaxed and for now i dont mind it - ill maybe look for a new job next year. just trying to hit the 1 year mark here so it doesnt look bad on my resume :)

  2. Oh I see!
If your boyfriend is interested in the entertainment side of aged care, let him know he needs to look in to being a lifestyle coordinator as opposed to an assistant in nursing, which is what I am, I think there's even a tafe course for it :)

I would love to be a receptionist, I just don't think I'm an ideal candidate, I have no qualifications or experience in the industry, boo!
